Hi, I’m Erin, the face behind the camera. I’m a portrait photographer based in Des Moines, Iowa, specializing in weddings, seniors, and branding. My style focuses on creating images that feel genuine, creative, stylish, colorful, and timeless. I want photos to not only look beautiful, but to actually feel like you.
My love for photography started when I was 9 years old, after I got my first camera for Easter. It was a small red point-and-shoot that I took everywhere, starting with a family road trip to California. What began as curiosity quickly turned into something more. I took photography classes in high school and later started college studying animal science, but after taking time away from school, I realized photography was what I truly wanted to pursue. That time gave me the clarity to come back and fully commit to it, and I’ll be graduating with my photography degree in May 2026.
When I’m working with clients, I aim to create a calm and positive environment where you feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. Nothing should feel forced. I focus on capturing real moments while adding a creative and thoughtful perspective, so your images feel true to who you are while still elevated and intentional. Outside of photography, I find inspiration in fashion, vintage pieces, music, and travel. I love thrifting, trying new restaurants, and exploring new places, and that appreciation for style naturally carries into my work. I’ve been running my business for the past year and was recently honored to receive two Awards of Excellence from the Art Directors Association of Iowa. While I’m based in Des Moines, I’m available for travel throughout the Midwest and beyond, and I would love to create something meaningful with you.
