Erin Liza Photography – Terms & Policies

These terms and policies apply to all sessions and services booked with Erin Liza Photography. By booking a session, the client agrees to the following:

Copyright & Image Use

All images created by Erin Liza Photography are protected under copyright law. Erin Liza Photography retains full copyright ownership of all photographs at all times.

Clients receive a personal-use license, which allows images to be downloaded, shared, and printed for personal use only.

The following guidelines apply:

  • Images may not be altered in any way, including applying filters or converting to black and white

  • Minor cropping is allowed for formatting purposes

  • Images may not be sold, submitted to publications, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission

  • Clients must tag or credit Erin Liza Photography when posting images online (when applicable)

Clients are responsible for ensuring that friends, family, or third parties also follow these guidelines when sharing images.

Any misuse of images may result in a $50 fee per violation.

Model Release

Erin Liza Photography reserves the right to use images from any session for marketing, portfolio, website, social media, publication, or promotional purposes.

If a client prefers that their images remain private, this must be requested in writing prior to the session. While reasonable efforts will be made to honor removal requests after delivery, complete removal from all platforms cannot be guaranteed.

Creative Style & Editing

By booking, the client acknowledges they are familiar with Erin Liza Photography’s style and agrees that final images will reflect a consistent look and feel.

  • Final images are delivered in JPEG format

  • Minor re-edit requests may be considered at the photographer’s discretion

  • RAW (unedited) files are never delivered

  • Erin Liza Photography retains full creative control over the session and editing process

  • Images not selected for final delivery are permanently discarded

Payments & Retainers

A non-refundable retainer is required to secure all bookings:

  • $50 for seniors, branding, couples, and family sessions

  • 25% of the total package cost for weddings

The remaining balance is due:

  • 7 days prior to all non-wedding sessions

  • 14 days prior to weddings

Accepted payment methods include cash, check, Venmo, and card.

Sessions are not considered booked until the retainer is paid.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Retainers are non-refundable under all circumstances.

Rescheduling policies:

  • Non-wedding sessions require at least 72 hours notice

  • Weddings require at least 30 days notice

There are no rescheduling fees.

In the case of inclement weather, Erin Liza Photography will monitor conditions and communicate with the client to determine the best course of action. If the client chooses to cancel due to weather, the retainer will still be forfeited.

Turnaround Time & File Delivery

  • Standard sessions: delivered within 14 days

  • Weddings: delivered within 6 to 8 weeks, with a preview gallery provided within 1 week

Final galleries are delivered online and remain active for 30 days.

Clients are responsible for downloading and backing up their images. If a gallery needs to be re-uploaded after expiration, a $25 fee will apply.

Liability

Erin Liza Photography is not responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses that occur during a session.

In the unlikely event of equipment failure, data loss, or other unforeseen circumstances that prevent image delivery, liability is limited to a reschedule when possible. Refunds are not guaranteed.

Session-Specific Policies

Weddings

  • A 25% non-refundable retainer is required to secure the date

  • Final payment is due 14 days prior to the wedding

  • Weddings require at least 30 days notice to reschedule

If travel is required and expenses have already been incurred, the client may be responsible for those costs.

Seniors

  • A $50 non-refundable retainer is required

  • Sessions must be rescheduled within a reasonable timeframe agreed upon by both parties

  • Final galleries are delivered within 14 days

Branding

  • A $50 non-refundable retainer is required

  • These sessions are intended for personal brand use only unless otherwise agreed upon in writing

  • Commercial usage beyond agreed scope must be approved in advance

Family & Couples

  • A $50 non-refundable retainer is required

  • Sessions must be rescheduled with at least 72 hours notice

  • Final galleries are delivered within 14 days
